Tomorrow we have District Governor Kevin Crouse attending our 12 noon meeting (with Board meeting at 11:00).  Acting Assistant DG Thomas Brock will also be attending.  We will be discussing the DG vision for the coming Rotary year, as well as our Club's vision and plans for this year.  I hope everyone can make an effort to attend!

Last week our guest speakers were from the Grimsby Conservation Club.  They have a fantastic idea to provide free fishing for families, school groups, and tourists.  Their goal is to build a fully accessible fish pond on the Grimsby lakefront and use it to educate youth about Lake Ontario fish and to build community.  If you are interested in helping to promote this initiative, in becoming a member or their club, or in making a tax deductible donation, you may contact Frank England at by email at wengland12@sympatico.ca or by phone 905-945-5328.

Our club has planned a fantastic Dinner -Theatre Murder Mystery evening on Sat. Oct. 26th.  The five-course meal is inter-mingled with professional actors for a wonderful program.  We ask each Rotarian to promote and sell a few tickets, as well as to provide one bottle of wine so that we can have a Wine Raffle.  Speak to Carolyn to reserve your tickets, which are $75 per person.   This program will raise funds to send youth to Rotary Leadership programs.

Please look over our club website and mark events on your calendar.  Please contact Keith or myself if you have speaker or program ideas!
