ImageTues Oct 2 we hosted to Rotary guests from the Brantford club:  Vido Agriesti and Paul Oddi came to invite us to attend District 7090 Conference in Brantford Oct 12-14 - free registration!  Vido told me a story of when he was a new member of Rotary and selling raffle tickets.  He approached a man who was unkempt and stooped in appearance and the man purchased a whole book of tickets, saying, I was a cripple but Rotary gave me legs so I can walk!  That is the day that Vido changed from being a member of a club to being a Rotarian.

Come early on Tues. Oct 9th to hear an update from Jennifer McKillop and Tom Elgersma from the FUN school of Music!

Hats off to our October pod who have lined up excellent programs and speakers for each Tuesday:  Paul, Ross, Maria, Peter, Lisa and Craig.  We are thinking about Rotary International Foundation all through October, and Paul Ke will be doing a spotlight on the Foundation each week in October.

I will be looking for speaker ideas from my November pod:  Barb, Patty, Thomas, Keith, and Marshall.  Please click on the link for "speakers" and you will see all the speakers on our club website.
